It is our pleasure to welcome you to Acadia's Sunnyside Motel & Cottages in beautiful Bar Harbor, Maine. And, while you're here, we want your stay to be comfortable, relaxing, and surely a vacation. Our amenities are designed with that mission in mind!
Cable TV / WIFI / Telephone
Cable TV is standard in all units. WIFI is available on the grounds. Motel units also feature in room telephones
Laundromat
Why go into town or wait till you get home to do laundry? We have laundry facilities right onsite! Plus, we also offer detergent too!
Pool
Bar Harbor is full of beautiful beaches and swimming areas, but a dip in a relaxing pool just steps away from your private cottage or motel unit is just so convenient. Our pool is privately placed for a very comfortable setting.
Barbecue
Lobster shacks abound throughout Bar Harbor, and you'll certainly enjoy your palate of great food here on the island. A barbecue, though, is also a great way to have a meal, and nothing says summer vacation like 'COOKING ON THE BARBY'! Picnic tables are available at each cottage and a social picnic area is available for all motel guests.
Play Area
Children and all will find great lawn grounds to play soccer, badminton, throw a frisbee or just play tag. A swingset is also here

Acadia's Sunnyside Motel & Cottages is centrally located between downtown Bar Harbor and Ellsworth, close to all the wonderful activities and excursions you're sure to enjoy!
Island Explorer Shuttle Route
We are right near the pick up point for the Free Island Explorer Shuttle. This shuttle will take you all over the island, if you choose not to travel with your car.
